Fairfax Identity Laboratories (FIL), a world leader for the past 15 years in the field of parentage analysis, is proud to announce it is now a Division of Commonwealth Biotechnologies, Inc. (CBI). For more information see our press release. Effective December 16, 2004, FIL has relocated its laboratory facilities and a substantial portion of its key personnel to the Virginia state capitol in Richmond. The laboratory will continue to operate under the FIL name while availing itself of the resources of the new parent company. CBI's own paternity testing abilities will be absorbed by FIL, while FIL will have at its disposal an expanded scientific and technical support network.
Fairfax Identity Laboratories is actively involved in the establishment of genetic relationships for child support agencies and legal entities. It is also a provider of identifying profiles from criminal offenders to state crime laboratories.
