Identity Laboratories provides individualized testing services
that meet the guidelines and requirements specified by embassies,
consulates and the US Office of Immigration and Naturalization
Services. Identity testing in cases involving immigration
may include answering questions of paternity, maternity,
and sibling relationships.

genetic services including one of the largest programs
in prenatal diagnostics and a commitment to promoting research
in molecular DNA technology.
Individualized Testing Services
Fairfax Identity Laboratories will customize
the collection of biological specimens based on the relationship
in question and the specific requirements of the immigration
office. The laboratory offers strict chain of custody procedures
in coordinating and collecting biological (blood and buccal (mouth)
samples) from individuals in the United States and abroad.
A number highly polymorphic loci will be evaluated sufficient
to report a probability of relationship of 99.9% or greater.
Reports can be sent directly to the test
requester and official agencies as required.

Our customer service offices are
open M-F 8:00am to 8:00pm (EST). The laboratory
is accessible during extended hours seven days a week. Based on our
experience in accurately processing large numbers
of samples, we are able to assist in all aspects of specimen
collection and shipping. Samples can be collected and transported
from throughout the United States and other countries to
our facilities just outside Washington, DC. A highly trained
analyst will receive the specimens and conduct testing
according to well-validated procedures and protocols. Results
will be provided for standard cases in approximately 7 - 10
business days from the time that the samples are received
by the laboratory.
